'Remember WENN,' now completing its fourth season, is the story of a small, independent Pittsburgh radio station just prior to and during World War II. The programming on WENN is a mixture of music, comedy and drama (most in the form of soap operas), much as might have been found on any station of the period.
The personnel of WENN are a group of the usual suspects; station manager, engineer, sound effects man, writer(s), receptionist, jack-of-all-trades, and several actors. It would be a mistake, however, to assume that anyone has just one job; everyone does whatever he/she must to ensure that the show goes on. Even those who are not actors often become cast members; usually through filling in for a regular who, for one reason or another, cannot be present.
This TV show about the 'golden age' of radio is the best thing going today, and is the product of the fertile mind of Rupert Holmes, a man of many talents.
